  1. 1891 86 Market Street, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire
1901 25 Stirchley? Street, Kings Norton, Worcestershire
1910 Ladywood Cottage, Inverkeithing, Fife, Scotland (at marriage)
1911 18 Saltley Road, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire.
There were two children born in Birmingham district with the name JEFFRIES and the mothers maiden name as GUEST who I believe to be children of this couple or they could be children of Arthur William JEFFRIES and his wife
Emily M J Jeffries Jul-Aug-Sep 1912 Aston Warwickshire, we think Emily married in 1932 Ongar Essex  to a Frederick Wixey 1911-2003
    Joseph A T Jeffries Oct-Nov-Dec 1915 Aston Warwickshire
There are two JEFFRIES-GUEST marriages on this Chart, I do not believe that Alice and Clara were sisters on the 1901 Census Agnes  is at 21a Cromwell Street, Aston with Arthur and Clara as parents, Alice on the 1901 Census is with grandparents, however on the 1891 Alice C is with parents Joseph and Emily (from further information received I now believe, although the Census says otherwise) that Alice was with her grandparents on this Census as well, even though she is down as a duaghter. This does mean that Alice and Clara are indeed sisters, I do think that all the GUEST families must join up as they all appear to have the occupation of Butchers (I will put a chart on for the GUEST family showing our findings.
  2. 1910 365 Washwood Heath Road, Birmingham, Warwickshire (at marriage)? ?
1911 18 Saltley Road, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire.
  3. I received an email from Julie Jeffries as follows:
    Hi John
I have viewed Samuel Jeffries of Derby military record.
It confirms that in May 1915 he had 2 children Emily Maude Josephine Jeffries in 1912 Aston (so she is not his brothers child)
and Thomas Arthur Jeffries born 18 Sep 1913 in Inverkeithing and baptised 9 November 1913 Inverkeithing
I think Thomas died in 1985 Warwickshire after marrying Grace Fitzer 1916-2001. They appear to have had 2 daughters including, Mary Grace Brain nee Jeffries 1937-1987
    Thank you
    Julie
(so I have move Emily from his brothers chart to this one)
There are three children with the name WIXEY with the mother's maiden name as JEFFRIES who I believe to be children of this couple.
Emily M WIXEY September 1932 Ongar Essex,
Frederick W WIXEY March quarter 1937 Billericay Essex
Barbara A WIXEY December quarter 1941 Pancras London
  4. From the email for Julie JEFFRIES shown in note 3 I have changed the child for note 4 to the the one she has born in Inverkeithing and moved the one I had to the chart of his brother.

As well as Joseph on the above chart and the two children shown on JEFFRIES chart 0204 there were two other children with the name JEFFRIES and the mothers maiden name as GUEST. They must belong to one or the other of these families, both with JEFFRIES as surname as GUEST as the mother maiden name but at present do not know which family they belong to: I would think it would be most likely that they both belonged to this family and at present this is the chart I have shown them on.
Samuel born Birmingham 6d 424 March quarter 1922
possible Marriage to Mary White Birmingham 1945
John born Birmingham South 6d 244 March quarter 1928
John died Birmingham South March quarter 6d 236 aged 0

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
