His younger brother is down as being born in Wotton, which is part of Dorking and on the 1871 Census James is down as being born in Wotton, Surrey. Possibly the family had moved to Wotton when James was born but went back to Great Bookham for the baptism as that was where his three elder sibling had been baptised. 1891 Census - 2 Princess Road, Croydon, Surrey.
