It is not possibly to read the names of the two sons on this Census, but one is born in 1833 and on in 1843 so I have taken them to be James and John, I think they are down as Jos and Jas, Ancestry.com have made them both Gaz.

    James is down as being born in Dorking, but I still think this is the correct person. His younger brother is down as being born in Wotton, which is part of Dorking and on the 1871 Census James is down as being born in Wotton, Surrey. Possibly the family had moved to Wotton when James was born but went back to Great Bookham for the baptism as that was where his three elder sibling had been baptised.
    1891 Census - 2 Princess Road, Croydon, Surrey. (down as being born in Croydon on this Census)  James and his wife are with her daughter Louisa Jane and family, I have not found children Frederick and Sarah on this Census.

    Teresa MAIDENS says there were nine children in this family. We only have seven, and only seven show up on the 1871 to 1901 Census. However there are two possible gaps where children could be born, 1879 and 1883 or thereabouts. On the BMD there are three children born in Croydon for both these years. It is possible that one of these were children of John and Emma and that they died before the next Census. However as there is so many to choose from we cannot guess which ones are correct.

    Note
    Not one of the five baptisms came up on the Surrey baptisms when I looked for them on Ancestry.com, however two came up on the England Christenings as being on Wooton in Surrey, I then searched for just of baptisms in Wooton and went through them, all five were there (we only had three children originally but the mother on the 1911 Census said she had had five children and sure enough they were all there, clear and with the right parents.
